At the end of this semester...

With the semester almost over, I would like for you to seriously think about what you have learned these past 16 weeks. It doesn't have to be a grammar point or even related to English. What have you learned about yourself? Have you changed or evolved in any way?


What I would start first with? time really flies, I didn't even mention that we spent 16 weeks!! but I really had fun and knowledge, meet new friends, discover the area very well. About my study, I learned a lot in writing because I know that my writing was terrible once I came here, also I have an open university classes so I know how the university classes go. About my life, the US keep changing my attitude toward thing very positively, I'm still learning how to be independent in all life concerns. Because I didn't used to deal with all my life works. I can really summarize that to say it's like a gift for me to be one member of you terrific guys.

If you were to be elected head of your country, what are three things you would do or change?





First, I'll change the political system in my country to be democracy instead of the capitalism that we are following nowadays, second, I'll try to  do my best to eradicate corruption, even though the corruption is a matter and it's such a cancer to any civilized society. but If we want we can eradicate it. If at all we try we will not be. issue is simple, unless we are educated to eradicate the cancer we will not be. Third, I'll observe the human rights and I would try to offer it to everybody under my authority at least. Mildly, I feel I am quite a good person for this job, just elect my i'll be a nice president with you guys .. lool

If you had to live the rest of your life in a place that you have never lived in before, where would you live? more » 




I hate routin, and I don't want to spend the rest of my life in one place. So, I am going to choose to live the rest of my life by travel. I traveled a lot, and I discovered the benefits from it. if I have the ability to do that I will name the places that I want to visit. First, I would love to go to Belgium, I have never met anybody who have been there or someone from there, but I have the desire to go there and stay for three months. I would also go to Thailand, Australia, Mauricious, and so on. Indeed, I would be such a tourism for the rest of my life.

My ideal job

Hi, I always try to put some steps in front of me to follow if I want to achieve what I want in my life. so, five years ago I was thinking to be an accountant but not just a regular accountant. I would get the specialist certificate which is CPA; certified public accountant. once I get this certificate I will be able to work in many of big companies around the world and I'll be happy in whatever the job is. because it's my field and what i'm good in. I know it will take loooong time to get it but work hard pays off. moreover, the salary will be good enough to build my life the way that I want.

I had work in the past, so i've seen the competition in work and how the the employees fighting to be that unique person in the sector.  therefore, be unique by yourself from first to be in the summit all time.

     My name is Ahmad Aldhubaib from the capital of Saudi Arabia which is Riyadh, I'm Libra.  I left my country since January 2012. I'm Twenty four years old. I came here to get the bachelor degree in finance. I already have associated degree in business accounting. I love money language lool, that will probably express why I love all business majors.

I'm in love with the crazy state CAlifornia, the most thing that I like in here to hang out with my friends to explore a new places or visit the sight seeing in here. I love to try a new food or see the difference between cultures, so it is a good choice for me to be here in California. 

I love soccer either to practice or to watch in TV. I do love cooking especially the Saudi's traditional food. 

Traveling is my hoppy I guess, i've visited many countries around the world in Europe, Asia, Africa and couples of states in here so far.
